Boston, Massachusetts closing costs

The mortgage website Bankrate recently released their annual state survey of closing costs. Boston was ranked high, but lower than what you might expect, ranking 11th – which was tied with Nevada.

The average closing fee paid by a Massachusetts homebuyer was $4,244.00. The higest costs were in New York, which was almost $2,000 more than we do at $6,183.
