The downturn has not dimmed the Hub’s status as one of the most expensive real estate markets in the country.
Boston came in seventh in a ranking of 10 most expensive home sales market in the country, neck in neck with such exclusive enclaves as Greenwich Conn., and Palo Alto Calif., according to the newly release Coldwell Banker Home Price Comparison Index.
With an average home sales price of $1,337,578. Boston nudges out Newport Calf by about $20,000.00, while falling short of San Francisco by $45,000.00
