Boston Real Estate for Sale

While this past week has been an unkind one for members of one Boston-area real estate company, another one appears poised for growth.

(How’s that for a lede?)

Rumor has it that Keller Williams will be expanding, opening its second downtown Boston office. Word is that they are negotiating a lease on Tremont Street, in the South End; specifically, in the space recently vacated by RE/Max Old South Real Estate.

Keller Williams entered the Boston market just one year ago, opening an office in the Back Bay. The local branch was founded by a group including two powerhouse agents, Steven Cohen and Diane Davidson, who previously worked for Gibson Sotheby’s and Hammond Real Estate, respectively.

The principals of the company were unavailable for comment. (Mostly, because I didn’t call them.)
