Confirmed: Beacon Hill’s Shangri-La to become Tip Top Room

As we reported a short while ago, Shangri-La’s on Cambridge Street is closing and will be replaced by a new “Tip Top Room” bar and grille. The new owners have just filed plans for the new restaurant-bar concept.

The Beacon Hill Civic Association seems on board, praising the new owners for listening to their suggestions.

We wish them well. Sounds like it’ll be a welcome addition to Beacon Hill.
