At the start of the social-distancing ruling, I started a new exercise program. As someone who dislikes doing jumping jacks and push-ups, I found my new exercise regiment surprisingly enjoyable, at least for a while. But after several weeks, my hobby began to feel like watching the same t.v sitcom over-and-over. I was overly familiar with the routine, and my excitement had been replaced with, you guessed it, boredom.
