It took very little time for the Massachusetts Bankers Association to let its opinion be known about Mayor Menino’s plan to impose a mediation step in all Boston foreclosures.
“There’s no evidence that mediation or judicial review creates a process that works better than what’s in place already,” said Kevin Kiley, the banking association’s chief operating officer. “We are troubled by these proposals.” (as quoted in the Boston Herald)
