In 2026, South Boston’s real estate landscape is being shaped by massive multi-phase redevelopments and boutique luxury projects. As of early 2026, the market has seen a high velocity of sales for new-construction units, particularly in areas like Andrew Square and along East Broadway.
- On the Dot (Andrew Square): Construction is actively underway in 2026 for this transformative project. It aims to unlock underused industrial land to create a walkable residential and commercial hub.
- Mary Ellen McCormack Redevelopment: A landmark $1.6 billion project that began Phase I in early 2025.
- Building A: Scheduled for completion in late 2026, offering one- to three-bedroom floor plans.
- Building B & C: Construction is slated to begin immediately following Building A’s completion.
- 2 H Street: A large-scale project transforming the neighborhood with 127 residential units and nearly 3,000 square feet of retail space.

New condo construction announced for South Boston and Dorchester
There will be 127 units of housing at the “Residences at 50 West Broadway” in South Boston, the site of the former Cardinal Cushing High School.
The second project is called Crescent Court in Dorchester, and is on Dorchester Ave. The building will include 59 loft-style units.
