Property Shark is a brand new service, originally only in New York City, but now in other cities, as well.
What can you do there? As their website says:
Enter any address and get:
* Owner name and address
* Tax assessment
* Square footages & room counts
It’s got a bunch of information you could find by going to the City of Boston assessors website, but additional info, as well, including most recent sales in the building.
It lists each property by parcel number, which means you might have to do a bit of trial and error, by address. Either that, or go to the City of Boston assessorswebsite, type in an address there, get the parcel number, then go back to Property Shark.
