By using MLS data I noticed the following information:
* In MA we have 45,732 properties for sale.
* By using the keywords “bank owned” 605 properties are listed.
* By using the keyword “foreclosure” 140 properties are listed.
* By using the keywords “short sale” 1,924 properties are listed.

The following is from MLS for Boston real estate only.
* In Boston – 2,940 properties are for sale according to MLS
* MLS has listed 1,901 Boston condos for sale.
* By using the keywords “bank owned” 51 properties are listed.
* By using the keyword “foreclosure” 13 properties are listed.
* By using the keywords ” short sale” 182 properties are listed.
Based on MLS data I see hope for the Boston real estate market.
