Just noticed, this, and according to Twitter, we’re not the only ones. Apparently after a certain number of clicks, visitors are required to register to view news articles on www.boston.com. It could be a short-term trial or only certain users are hitting it. All we know is that some time after 10: 20 a.m. we started to hit registration pages after multiple clicks.
UPDATE: A media source says they’ve hit the registration gate before today and it seems to be a slow roll-out to users, so some may be hitting registration pages while others don’t.
