The Massachusetts economy grew by an impressive clip last quarter. But housing was still struggling last month.
From a Northeastern University professor: “The state’s residential housing sector continues to be depressed — sales are slow, housing starts are moribund, and prices are stagnant.”
The big question at this point: Will the recovery pull the housing market out of its doldrums or will housing pull down the recovery?
