The Beacon Hill Civic Association recently surveyed hundreds of people and came up with a list of the most desirable types of businesses they’d like to see open on Beacon Hill — and the least desirable.
The most desirable, in order: Book store, mid-range restaurant, cheese shop, bakery and kitchenware shops.
The least desirable, in reverse order: insurance companies, accounting offices, law firms, banks and … real estate offices.
