Uncle Sam cries ‘victim’ in housing crisis? Part 3

One arm of government is cracking down on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for their role in the housing crisis, while another arm of government is claiming they were victims in the housing crisis. We’re not making this up.

Sorry to harp on this point. But it’s just too weird.
