From the South End News:

A 25-year-old local man was robbed of his $25,000 gold Rolex as he walked home on Columbus Avenue at around 1 a.m. on Aug. 10. The victim told police that after he left Clery’s Bar at Columbus Avenue and Dartmouth, walking toward Massachusetts Avenue, he saw a young man riding a bicycle coming out of Rutland Square. A few minutes later, he said he heard a “squeaking noise” behind him and turned to see the young man coming up behind him. The young man jumped off his bicycle, pulled out a black handled switchblade and asked, “What you got?” The victim said he had nothing, but the suspect then allegedly began patting him down. The suspect saw the watch and told the victim to “kick that shit in.” The suspect took the watch and fled on bicycle down Columbus Avenue, toward Dartmouth Street.
