Boston condos
The new S&P/Case Shiller Home Price index is out, showing a very impressive across-the-country performance in home prices.
Boston’s home prices rose by about 1.8 percent from April to May, and by 7.5 percent year-to-year. Both are impressive numbers.
But then you look at San Francisco and … wow. Its home prices were up 24.5 percent over the past year. Not even close. Not that we want it to be close.
