From an environmentalist’s standpoint, it sounds great.
But from a resident’s perspective, the competition for street parking is going to get more fierce.
The reason: New limits on the number of parking spaces at new developments, all to encourage people to use public transit more often.
OK, that makes sense on paper. But a lot of these new developments are luxury developments. Do planners really expect the affluent to give up their BMWs and Audis to take public transit? Please.
