Sometimes Boston Beacon Hill renters want to see several apartments in one day. Making the appointments can be challenging for Realtors. There isn’t any point in making appointments several days ahead of time because more often than not the Boston Beacon Hill apartment will accept an offer before the showing and cancel that appointment.

The best way to do it is to make appointments one or two days ahead of time. A few of those appointments will be canceled. Sometimes it helps to make twice as many appointments and cancel them as the Beacon Hill apartment gets rented. Sometimes houses come on the market to fill the appointment holes.

I have worked in real estate for 20 years and this spring has been the hardest for Beacon Hill apartment renters That isn’t to say that the last few years have been easy, they have not. The apartment rental market is very stressful for people who are looking for housing and for the real estate agents who are trying to help them.

Higher rents are not enough to discourage apartment hunters and even if they do get discouraged there are plenty of cash renters who are ready to take advantage of the situation.

All Beacon Hill apartments ranked Newest to Oldest Listings for Winter 2022

Most of the country is experiencing increases in their apartment inventory, but not Beacon Hill apartment rentals.  This is why I think our frenzy could – and should – be as hot today as it was in the past, but they’re just aren’t enough Boston Beacon Hill apartments to rent. We’re back to our old ways where the tenant is paying some or all of the Boston real estate broker fees.

The count of active listings is half of what it was last year at this time!

After September 1st the number of Beacon Hill listings drop dramatically, The average number is 25 listings or below.

In late 2020, Beacon Hill real estate companies determined that tenants in Beacon Hill were paying an average of $2.900 per month to live in America’s Finest neighborhoods.
