A funny story about a new Boston condo agent
I hired a new Boston condo agent who was in his early 60’s, retired and just started a second career in real estate. However, he just couldn’t seem to get to his Boston condo showings on time.
Every day he was 5,10,15 minutes late. However, he was a good worker, really clever, so I was in a quandary about how to deal with his tardiness.
Finally, one day I called Steve into the office for a talk. Steve, I have to tell you, I like your work ethic, you do a top class job closing on Beacon Hill and Back Bay condos for sale, but you’re being late for your appointments so often its quite a worry. “Yes, I realize that, sir, and I am working on it” replied Steve.
“I’m pleased to hear that, you are a team player with the other Boston condo agents , It’s odd though, you’re always late for your showings. I know you’re retired from the U.S. Navy. What did they say if you came in late there?”
They said, “Good morning, Admiral.”
