The urgent advice usually ends with “blogs are dead.”

Like Groundhog Day, we keep repeating the same pattern.

The New York Times has an article called, “Blogs Wane as the Young Drift to Sites Like Twitter.”

So here’s my question for you. Do you think that social media (Twitter) updates will replace real estate blogs? Share your thoughts. Would Twitter and Facebook updates be more enticing for you to read instead of more lengthy real estate blog posts? I like to keep up with technology, but sometimes hard habits (like blogging) are to break.

“Blogs were once the outlet of choice for people who wanted to express themselves online. But with the rise of sites like Facebook and Twitter,” writes Verne G. Kopytoff. “They are losing their allure for many people — particularly the younger generation.”
