Two real estate developers who had been competing for the right to build on land parcels in Jamaica Plain’s Jackson Square neighborhood have joined forces and will redevelop the land together.
Partners for Jackson LLC — which includes Urban Edge, Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corp., and Hyde Square Task Force — joined with Mitchell Properties LLC of Boston in an effort to create hundreds of units of housing, retail space and a community center.
The land is along Columbus Avenue and Centre Street in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston.
