The Boston Herald reported this weekend that the end might be near for Borders Downtown Crossing book store. An excerpt from the Herald: Leaving? Bookseller Borders, teetering on the edge of bankruptcy, may leave its store at the corner of Washington and School streets after its lease expires in 2012.
I hope this isn’t true, I enjoy shopping for books the old fashion way.
If they do move out, I wonder what would be an ideal tenant to occupy the space?
