Forget about the saying “Go west young man.” The new 21st Century saying is “Move back in with Mama.”
In the last 6 years, the number of young men ages 23-34 moving back home with mom and dad has increased from 14% to 19%, based on a recent survey.
Just another sign how this recession is impacting both Boston and the country as a whole. Adult men are unable to find work and are forced to move back into their childhood bedrooms.
