After watching this video, ask yourself: Would bringing back 100 percent mortgage financing be a friend or foe to the Boston real estate market?
My thoughts: The real estate guys in the video above make some interesting points, but the bottom line is that I wasn’t sold on the idea, at least as it pertains to the Boston real estate market. With that said, I wouldn’t rule out the idea for Springfield or other sections of western Massachusetts, where bringing back 100 percent financing may have some merit.
