Was that a gift from Heaven? Peter practically tripped over the wallet, Mr. James Forbes from Yorktowm Hts., NY
apparently lost it. Peter a struggling student, saw $300 in the wallet, the money was desperately needed, but perhaps the owner needed it too….What to do?

Some days later, Mr. Forbes opened the padded yellow envelope containing his wallet and a note:

“This belongs to you. I didn’t use your ID but kept the money. My Mom needed it for the rent. I promise to pay it back as soon as I can. Peter”

James Forbes heard God worked in mysterious ways. Now he understood. His transient loss had become another’s salvation.
