A Beacon Hill brokers story about Neil Armstrong’s toothbrush
While I was brushing my teeth today, I was reminded of a trip I took to the Air and Space Museum at the Smithsonian.
(Yes, even Boston Beacon Hill condo for sale brokers take vacations;)
At the exhibits they show you the food the astronauts ate and everything like that.
One of the exhibits even had Neil Armstrong’s toothbrush on display.
on the display there was a small sign that said; “On loan from Neil Armstrong.”
And I’m thinking,
Did the Smithsonian call Neil Armstrong and said, “Neil, we would like you to donate your toothbrush ….”
Did he say, “No, but I’ll lend it to you.”
I mean, they flew him to the moon and back
No Charge.
Give them the damn toothbrush.
Is he coming in at night and using it?
“I need my toothbrush tonight, if everybody is done looking at it, I would like it back.”
