Here’s a slide show of towns with the most and least number of homes under water, or when mortgages are higher than the current home values.
Not too many surprises in the “least” category (Wellesley has the lowest under water homes at 2.4 percent).
In the “worst” category, the top one is also not too much of a surprise – Brockton.
But what surprised us is that one out of three homes in Brockton are still under water. Now that’s a big yikes. Plymouth’s inclusion on the worst list also surprised us a bit.
