The Abbey Group is proposing construction of a large housing, office and retail complex on the former site of a McDonald’s on Boylston Street, just blocks from Fenway Park.
If approved and built, the 210-apartment/office structure, located at 1283 Boylston, would be just the latest addition to an already remarkable transformation of the Fenway neighborhood.
The Fenway section of Boylston Street, if you recall, used to have a sort of run-down look, complete with lots of one-story buildings that didn’t exactly create an intimate neighborhood feel. No more.
What a change.
