The Back Bay condo painters were awarded a job to paint the lobby in a prestigious Commonwealth Ave building, near the Boston Common.
Working from a 10 ft. ladder to scrape the old paint from the lobby windows, some flakes fell, narrowly missing his partner who was painting the floor trim.
Paul glanced down. “The Back Bay condo association is really fussy, Vinny. They want a deeper crimson red, similar to the Harvard University colors”
“I’m doing my best, Paul!”
Seconds later, Paul dropped his razor-sharp knife. “Wow,” he said, “that must have been close! Sorry.” Underneath Paul’s ladder was a detached ear on the ground, from Paul’s view, appeared to be a puddle of red paint.
“Hey, Vinny. That color looks perfect!”
