Blog reader ‘just some guy’ sent me a mailer how he was viewing Boston condos for sale online. One day he came across a listing just outside of Boston, the pictures looked phenomenal, he was excited to view this property. 

(I wasn’t able to show the unit because it was a private listing showing only, in the old days we would call these pocket listings.)

The Boston condo agent did virtual staging, and it was a lesson in how disappointing it can be when buyers get excited about the online photos, and the letdown when they experience the real thing in person.
