Boston luxury condos
With all these Boston luxury condos being built, you may ask who’s able to afford to buy them? According to a recent article in the Boston Courant (sorry no link) Boston proper area has close to 10,000 millionaires. The data was collected by Act One Lists, which organized its data via Boston zip code.
Not surprisingly, Back Bay’s zip code of 02116 was number one on the list with 3,421 millionaire households. The Boston South End, zip code 02118 had 1,722. Beacon Hill came in third with 031 millionaires.
The Boston proper area code of 02111, which encompasses Boston Common, Boston Midtown and Chinatown consisted of 548 millionaires, this zip code included Boston luxury condo buildings such as: Ritz-Carlton, Parkside, Tremont-on-the-Common and the Millennium.
According to the Boston Courant:
“Most of the downtown zip codes that encompass the Financial District and the Boston Waterfront have over 500 millionaires each, with every area featuring at least one luxury condo high-rise.”
