Hope has already arrived in Massachusetts, judging by a number of reports about an improving housing market here, including yesterday’s Fed Beige Book report (see immediately below).
But it seems the rest of the country is catching up too. The latest evidence is large homebuilders snapping up land in other parts of the nation, in anticipation of economic recovery.
It’s only a preliminary sign, for places like Florida and California are still getting hammered. But it’s still a good sign.
