Banks are accepting bids and writing contracts for foreclosed homes, but buyers are complaining that settlements are taking too long.
Case in point, Linda in my office submitted an offer on a foreclosed property in the West End several weeks ago and we still haven’t heard if the offer has been accepted. When she calls the listing broker apologizes but states that the bank doesn’t return her calls. So the wait goes on and on…..
