The Beacon Hill penthouse condo was completely engulfed in fire. Flames bounded everywhere with thick, black smoke curling upwards into the dark sky. The young boy was trapped in his upstairs bedroom. He leaned out of the window as time was running out. The roof would soon come crashing down, taking the boy’s life with it.

His father was standing on South Rusell Street below with outstretched arms. He yelled, “Jump, son, jump. I’ll catch you!” His son nervously cried out, “I can’t see you!” The father responded, “But I can see you!” … and that made all the difference.
