A couple of links about some New York City condo listings:
First, I can’t stand it when people complain about high real estate prices, but really. C’mon.
A property in the Trump Park Avenue condo complex is for sale. Price: $2.8 million. Sounds okay, right? Um, no. First off, the property was listed, in February, for $1.8 million. Same property, same condition, same owner. Second off … it’s 770 square feet. Or, $3,600 per square foot. Even for Manhattan, that’s high.
Hilarious.
Second, this is pretty common.
Here’s two photos. First is the developer’s rendering of how your home would look, drawn prior to construction of the building. Second is the reality, taken from inside the unit.
