The developer of a proposed residential tower at Copley Place has filed additional details for the proposed 47-story, 318-unit addition to the complex.
The real significance may not be the new details, such as repositioning the tower to make it look more slender from different angles. Instead, the significance is that yet another residential tower is moving forward in Boston. The Copley project had been previously delayed by the Great Recession.
The Copley move is yet more evidence that the Boston apartment-development market is hot, hot, hot these days.
Whether all the various proposals will get built, we’ll have to see.
