Here’s some good news: The Massachusetts economy grew by 3.9 percent last quarter, despite summer stock-market volatility that left many people thinking a double-dip recession was all but inevitable.
Granted, the job outlook is still gloomy. The economy is barely producing new jobs. Still, we’re in much better shape than expected, considering everything’s that’s happened recently. We should feel lucky.
