I was with a Boston apartment renter viewing properties for rent.

She noticed I had a religious symbol around my neck.

She than asked, “why I was wearing it?” I felt a little uncomfortable where this conversation was heading.

I told her it was a gift from my mon and I believed in God.

Then there was a moment of silence.

To break up the silence, I told her, “I noticed you have a rabbet’s foot on your key chain.”

She perked up and said, “Oh yes, it brings me good luck.

I replied, “Why would a rabbit foot bring you good luck? Was that rabbit lucky?

She responded, “”I never though of that.”

Before the day ended, I found her an apartment.
