I am old but not ancient. Let’s just say I am not quite old enough for Medicare but old enough to appreciate sitting on a couch on Sunday’s and watching football all day.
When I was younger I used to climb a tree to swipe apples. I still enjoy a good apple but I am past the tree-climbing stage and usually just pick low hanging fruit so I don’t strain my back.

Let me give you the highlights of my last argument with Mona. Oops, we don’t have arguments, I’m told we have heated discussions.
Mona: John, I have a great idea, lets go apple picking this Sunday.
Me: The last time we went apple picking I ended up staining my hack reaching for an apple you wanted.
Mona: I have a gift for you
Me: Oh no. What is it?
Mona: I bought this “fruit picker” and am looking forward to you giving it a try. I can almost taste the pie I am going to make. I feel like a kid again
