The Boston Homes newspaper reported that January sales of Boston proper condos dropped in year-over-year and on a month-to-month basis, but condo sales prices increased in some of Boston’s most desirable neighborhoods.
LINK reported that just 170 Boston condos sold in January. compared to 210 a year ago. On a month-to-month basis the news wasn’t much better with December reporting 123 more sales compared to January.
The Boston proper area for these reports includes the following neighborhoods: Back Bay, Midtown (Boston Common), Beacon Hill, West End, Charlestown, South Boston, South End/Bay Village, Leather District, North End, Downtown, Seaport/Waterfront.
