Boston Beacon Hill apartment – this is an electrifying story
This story begins when a Boston Beacon Hill apartment tenant called complaining her outlet in the bedroom wasn’t working. Unable to get an electrician today, I attempted to fix the outlet myself. I removed the outlet cover and noticed a piece of paper folded so tightly between the outlet box and the wall stud. In order to remove it, I had to use a needle-nose pliers to pull it out. Much to my surprise, I unfolded a $100 dollar bill! Unfortunately it had nothing to do with why the outlet wasn’t working.
I told the tenant I tried to fix it, but I’m going to have to call an electrician because I’m afraid to work with electric wires. And that’s my electrifying story.
The video below, shows the proper way to remove a Boston Beacon Hill apartment outlet.
