This is a very joyous holiday season for those Realtors selling Boston luxury condos.
According to MLS and LINK Boston luxury condo sales will end up being one of the best years on record for prices in excess of $1 million.
Kevin Ahearn, president of Otis & Ahearn Real Estate is quoted in the Boston Homes newspaper as saying:
“What this year is ending up as is the second highest year in the last decade. We have had a record number of sales at the high end, property selling at $1,000 per square foot….For the most part, downtown Boston remained unscathed during this great recession, which is a testament to strong, local fundamentals.”
Tracy Campion of Campion & Company Fine Homes Real Estate also had a joyous year selling Boston luxury condos and is quoted on the Boston Globe web site as saying that her company’s revenue soared 30 percent this year, to $221 million in sales.
