She opened the front of her Beacon Hill condo building. The wind caused snow flurries to dance chaotically in the vestibule; a blast of frigid air chilled her as she fumbled to find her mailbox key.
Outside, she had one hand holding the door, with her other, she held the silver metal key for the mailbox.
A vicious wind blew the door closed, and she was stuck outside in the cold. The door slammed shut; she couldn’t budge it. Outside in her slippers freezing, she closed her eyes and said, “this can’t be happening to me.” The wind-driven snow whipping around her; she was snow- blinded from the mounds of snow from the brick sidewalks.
Finally, the upstairs tenant who was about to walk his dog, came to her rescue. As she entered the building, she began stamping off the snow from her slippers as she viewed her junk mail and one red envelope regarding an unpaid parking ticket.
