Beacon Hill Apartments are in high demand

Our office receives numerous calls from potential Beacon Hill apartment renters  And finding a reasonably priced, clean Beacon Hill apartment in today’s market is no small task.  From rising rent rates and shrinking inventories to decentralized advertising and soulless scammers — today’s Beacon Hill apartment renters are faced with some of BIG challenges.

Beacon Hill Apartments and hidden inventory

One of the biggest challenges facing an in town renter in the Boston apartment market is that numerous of the in town rentals are “Broker controlled” … meaning half the market is what I call “private inventory”.  These are Beacon Hill apartments being managed by the owner and, as such, these Beacon Hill apartments are not “professionally represented” or advertised in a central online resource like the MLS.

So … with that in mind … you  might want to check out these websites here (my personal recommended resources for finding rentals):

Beacon Hill Apartment Websites

CRAIGSLIST :: Of course, there’s Craigslist.  Not my favorite site.  Mostly because of the lack of pictures and the cumbersome scrolling user interface.  But it can be a great resource for both agent listed and landlord direct rental homes (if you can get past the less than user friendly design). But be very careful of scammers

Apartments.COM :: I like this site. They have a ton of rental listings throughout downtown Boston real estate market and the search function is easy to use and most properties have good photos:

TRULIA :: Trulia has a great rental search engine for both MLS and non-MLS listed properties

ZILLOW:: And the same is true of Zillow … both MLS and non-MLS listed properties

You can also use our team website to help you find rentals — just click the  Beacon HIll apartment rental button on the topof our home page and you can see all the Beacon Hill apartments currently listed for rent by agents in the MLS.
