As we all know commercial space rent in Beacon Hill and Back Bay is very expensive. The new trend is that many businesses are joining together to share in office space to cut their overhead.
I heard of one story where a psychiatrist and a proctologist were looking to share space in South Boston. After weeks of searching they ended up in Dorchester
The city ordinance would only allow them to have one street sign. This obviously created a problem, but they came up with some clever ideas:
- Minds & Behinds
- Nuts & Butts
- Loons & Moons
They couldn’t come to an agreement, so they left the old tenants sign up in the meantime.
