He thinks maybe a treat for breakfast.

Then he catches himself, should he be indulging in a calorie filled Muffin?

He’s promised himself, that this week he will try to live hand-to-mouth. In solidarity with people suffering out there.
While in the shower he recalls last night’s documentary, after the Celtics loss. A woman squatting in filth, trying to keep flies from crawling into her babies’ mouth.

He answers neglected Boston real estate emails, with a touch of guilt, as he eye’s the treat on the counter.

But, he can’t help thinking about the documentary. So far away. So unknown in his life. Yet so real, so sad.
