Boston Real Estate for Sale

I was sad to read in today’s Boston Globe, that the Boston real estate community lost a one of kind, top notch, South-End real estate broker.

From today’s Boston Globe, Wednesday, February, 11, 2009 regarding Avi Rome:

Clients tended to be in the financial industry, and, “He was very good with numbers and economic trends and things like that,” said former colleague William Dellea, who worked with him at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. “They felt very comfortable dealing with him.”

And many came back to work with him as they looked to upgrade to a bigger place or move out of town.

An only child, his parents were World War II refugees who had fled Eastern Europe, said his longtime friend, Ged Kenslea of Los Angeles. “His parents instilled Old World manners, and I know that’s a trait that served him well in the industry.”

On his desk at Coldwell Banker, he kept a picture of himself with Al Gore and the former vice president’s wife, Tipper. “Everyone used to comment on that,” Dellea said.

We will miss him. Bostonreb.com and Ford Realty Inc would like to express our prayer’s to Avi Rome’s family and friends.
