About three months ago, I received a phone call from a Boston Beacon Hill property owner that wanted to sell his boarding house. This owner had specific requests, one being that he didn’t want his existing tenants know that the property was for sale until it was under contract and he specifically didn’t want it listed on the local MLS.
Within one week, I and my team were able to put the property under agreement for full asking price and no mortgage contingencies.
The property owner was very happy that we were able to pull this off with very little disruption to the existing tenants, he has now informed his tenants that the property is under agreement.
