Yesterday, I was at the Alewife Redline T Stop and I noticed that the retail store Best Buy had a vending machine near the automated T pass machines (similar to the picture above). This Best Buy machine had a large assortment of electronic equipment that you can purchase at discount prices compared to the retail stores.
This morning I was at the CVS in Government Center and I noticed almost all the check out centers were automated. This got me wondering, will automation total replace retail jobs?
