Bay State single-family home sales and prices continued their downward slide last month, but June saw the smallest annual drop so far in 2009, according to The Warren Group.
June single-family home sales slipped 5 percent to 4,436 from 4,664 one year ago as median price fell to $302,500 last month from $329,000 in June 2008, an 8 percent drop.
“While sales and prices are still sliding, June delivered the smallest year-over-year drop that we’ve seen so far in 2009,” said Timothy Warren, CEO of The Warren Group in a statement. “This is good news.”
