New Back Bay condo owner’s hangover

She woke up and looked around. Where was she? Whose bed was she in? She pulled back sheets, the indented pillow, the boots and the empty wine bottle on the floor, all told her she did not sleep alone.

The room was familiar, too familiar. Not in the midst of her misspent youth, but where was she? Why, oh why, did she have a pounding headache? The cobwebs were starting to clear as the door flew open. Mommy, you’re awake, called three little voices launching onto the bed followed by her husband bringing her coffee.
